Classic Dry Red

About the CDRs

The Classic Dry Reds play from an era of champagne and roses.

Their reportoire ranges from wild gypsy to jazz, from Mozart to Piaf.

They are an offshoot of the fantastic four piece band "The Classic Dry Whites"

Individually they have backed major international artists including Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey and John Denver.

Their collective experience has led them to perform in rock bands, classical trios, quartets and symphony orchestras in such diverse venues as the Sydney Opera House, pubs and clubs, abroad and Australia wide

Doiran and Gustaw have known each other for over 20 years and over the very occasional 15 bottles of classic dry red wine discussed music, politics, the enviroment, nuclear physics and solved most of the world's problems.

They then discussed the greatest question of all: could it be possible for great rock music to be fused with insipid classical muzak?

After much thought decided it was impossible and formed The Classic Dry Reds instead.

The rest of course is history.
