About Doiran

Doiran's passion for music started at an early age.

He was born in Wales to a musical family where playing instruments and singing were an everyday occurance.

His family emigrated to Australia in 1967 and moved to Armidale.

Doiran began playing guitar at age 13. Largely self taught, at 17 he played in various bands in Armidale before moving to the Blue Mountains in 1985.

His love of all genres of music led him to form The Classic Dry Reds with Gustaw Szelski in 2007.

Doiran is a keen singer and songwriter who has recorded his own cd of orininal compositions and has also written peices for The Classic Dry Reds.
